They are joined by Dr Lucinda Freeman, Programme Director of the MSc Genetic Counselling at UTS Sydney; Dr Sasha Henriques, Director of Equity Assurance at Genomics England; Professor Lili Milani, Head of the Estonian Biobank and Professor of Pharmacogenomics at the University of Tartu; and Jerome del Picchia, Chief Executive Officer of the European Society of Human Genetics.
Together, the panel discusses barriers to entering genetics professions, equitable participation in research and genomic healthcare, meaningful involvement of patients and communities, and the role of organisations such as ESHG in widening access and participation.
